Perfect replacement for the Nomad. Can’t beat the price. I might even order a second one for a backup batteery.

HERE IS THE LYRICS:The sign in the window said for sale or tradeOn the last remaining dinosaur Detroit madeSeven hundred dollars was a heck of a dealFor a four hundred horsepower jukebox on wheelsAnd that road rolls out like a welcome matI don’t know where it goes but it beats where we’re atWe always said someday, somehowWe were gonna get away, gonna blow this townWhat about now, how ’bout tonightBaby for once let’s don’t think twiceLet’s take that spin that never ends That we’ve been talking aboutWhat about Jukeboxes For Sale now, why should we waitWe can chase these dreams down the interstate And be long gone ‘fore the world moves on and makes another roundWhat about nowWe’ve been puttin’ this off baby long enoughJust give me the word, and we’ll be kickin’ up dustWe both know it’s just a matter of time ‘Til our hearts start racin’ for that county lineWhat about now, how ’bout tonightBaby for once let’s don’t think twiceLet’s take that spin that never ends That we’ve been talking aboutWhat about now, why should we waitWe can chase these dreams down the interstate And be long gone ‘fore the world moves on and makes another roundWhat about nowWe could hang around this town forever making plansBut there won’t ever be a better time to take this chanceWhat about now, how ’bout tonightBaby for once let’s don’t think twiceLet’s take that spin that never ends That we’ve been talking aboutWhat about now, why should we waitWe can chase these dreams down the interstate And be long gone ‘fore the world moves on and makes another roundWhat about nowWhat about now**** im sorry if a ask this question under this category because it seems that most smart people in yahoo answers are here. hehe. I had been looking for a docking station for my itouch for a long time, and believe me i did a lot of research. It looks great seating on my desk, it sounds great, and it is so easy to use, just plug and listen. The remote is a plus, i love that i can sort tru my songs from a distance.
I got this for Christmas and I love it. The remote is so cool just like my ipod touch. The system also delivers great sound. Would definitely reccomend.
Let me say first, I am very pleased with the iBoom – it sounds better than I expected. The sound quality is very good, the bass has a little punch to it but nothing you can really feel and the highs are spot on. You can turn the volume all the way up and the quality is still good. It is loud enough to fill pretty much any room you might have in your home. Just don’t expect it to replace a full stereo system – the power just isn’t there.
The only negative side I have for it may be a common one, I don’t know as this is my first ipod dock. If you only play from your playlists, then you will have no problem. But if you like to select specific artists or songs from the library, it becomes tedious. For example, I have my 16GB ipod nano 4th gen full of music. If I want to listen to ZZtop and it’s not on a playlist, it takes several minutes to scroll all the way through the library to get to the Zs using the remote.
I first got this item for christmas and I thought it was awesome. Then I hooked it up and the remote would not turn on after four hours of charging! So now the company was “nice” enough to send a new one in return for the one that does not work. When I got the new one the remote worked but the jukebox itself wouldn’t turn on. So now I am using the old jukebox that I thankfully did not send back and now i’m sending two rejects away. Now on top of that the remote worked for one day and then it deleted one of my albums from the library. I would say this is a okay pruduct. The sound is amazing and the remote is pretty cool when it’s working. I would have to recomend this product and hope it turns out better for you.
The battery is not quite big enough for the hols in the Creative Zen Xtra and it slips enough to lose contact and turn the player off instantly. I used the cardboard box it came in, and cut it in to several thin strips which I used to shim the battery up against the contacts so it will not slip away. This seems to work well: it took the full charge and it has lasted much longer than the one I purchased directly from Creative. It works about 6 hours before I had to recharge; not as good as my i-Pod or SansDisk, but it still works just fine.
I’ve been using this battery in my Creative Nomad Jukebox for 6 months and I have had no problems.
Works OK but not sized accurately. Did not fit properly.
(Needed to be fitted with a small insert of paper.)
I purchased this product w/o checking the reviews and it was a mistake. Contrary to what a positive review has written, this battery does not fit into the unit as advertised. I had to insert small spacers to keep it in place so that the battery’s contacts worked. The battery itself does not maintain a charge for very long at all. The assertion that this product fits the Jukebox Zen Extra is deceptive, and the product itself is sub par.
I’ll have to agree with some of the other reviews~ the battery doesn’t fit quite right. You’ll have to fold up a little piece of paper and wedge it at the bottom to shim the battery up against the contacts. Other than that, it works fine with good long life between chargings and will play all day. Since I’m not swapping batteries back and forth the battery fit isn’t too much of a problem. Still, I’m only giving it three stars because it claims to be an exact replacement.
I did check my model and battery part number carefully to make sure I wasn’t buying this battery for a model not specifically listed. My device is a Creative NOMAD MuVo2 and the original battery part number was BA20203R79903.
Although my original Nomad battery had been dead for a couple years, I was reluctant to buy the replacement based on the reviews that it was not quite the right fit. I finally bought a pair, figuring that for $10 apiece, there wasn’t much to lose. I was very pleased to find that the battery was indeed a perfect fit for my 30GB Nomad. It has basically given my Nomad new life. Even though one of my coworkers refers to it as my “Fred Flinstone MP3 player” (yes, it’s a bit on the bulky side), it once again does what a MP3 player is supposed to do–play music on the go. I have about 120 CDs on this thing and that still only fills about 1/3 of its capacity. Now I can once again use it without keeping it plugged in.
