The reason that some records will not work properly with the adapter is not because the adapter is faulty. It is due to variations in the center hole diameter of the 45 rpm records. The solution is to simply remove the 8 small screws that hold the 2 outer sections of the adapter and just use the center part and it will work fine.

We’re playing around with the speed-up function on Audacity, 45 Rpm Band and he told me that though Puhdys sounded like a bunch of munchkins when sped up from 33 1/3 to 45 rpm, munchkins don’t have bands. He takes munchkin and midget to have the same meaning (Wizard of Oz). I’m pretty sure there are midgets in the music industry. I don’t know of any, though. Anyone know any?
