I was so excited to take this out of the box, and as soon as I played the first 15 seconds of one of my records I started packing the unit back up. The speakers are AWFUL and the sound is harsh, strident and completely distorted. I am extremely disappointed and annoyed.

Waste of time.

When will we be able to scan a 78, 45, or 33 45 Rpm Record Inserts RPM record optically and “play” it with a “virtual needle”?
Or can we already?
