Given that these headphones come in at the upper end of the lower price range they sound very good. The higher frequencies are definitely there. The midrange could use a bit more definition. Overall the imaging could be better. Like the reviewer said before me the bass isn’t deep as you would expect, but I will in this case let them wear in a little bit before saying that they could use more bass. Definitely better than the Numark and a much better value than the higher price Technics DJ headphones. I must also comment that there is a low white noise distortion that is constantly present. This could be do to an impedance mismatch. I am playing these on a high quality Yamaha receiver and listening to a CD on a Yamaha CD player so go figure.EDIT: The white noise has gone away. I guess the high end on these babies is so good that it will pick up hiss in even alledgely DDD recordings of classical music. Right now these headphones should feel lucky because they are the cheapest ones

what is the difference between R&B, Soul, Soft Rock, Rock and Roll and Soft Rock?
I get confused categorizing Soul Rock songs because sometimes they label a particular song as both blues and rock, and I noticed that a white folk’s song is not labeled soul or R&B, but Soft Rock. pls enlighten me on my ignorance in this matter. thank you.
