This record player is like that guitar you buy your kid before he learns how lo play. It does the job, but it does not break the bank. Everything on it worked, it did not burn out, no pieces were missing or broken. The speakers are not for a party, then again, why would you risk the integrity of your records at a party? Bust out the mp3 player or the cd’s for that. If you read the instructions, everything should be fine. Plug in to the outlet. Remove the cap on the needle. Place record. Turn up volume/turn on machine (same nob, but this does not make the device turn records). Set speed. Use lever to raise arm. Gently move arm in the direction opposite to the record, YES, away from where you place the arm on record (this makes the device start spinning the record). Move arm towards record. Place needle/arm on edge of record (Not the very edge though, just look for thicker lines, those are usually the tracks.) Sit down. Relax. Enjoy. I would recommend this record player if you want to

How do u get thomas edison to take the phonograph on poptropica?
