That SOUNDS like a bad motor cap. However, it could be anything from a bad motor to motor speed control unit (don’t remember if that unit has one), to a problem in the power supply. It is impossible to diagnose a jukebox without being there, so I can only throw speculation. You should find a qualified repair specalist because there is line-level voltage (120vac or whatever your mains supply is) in that area and you may cause harm to yourself, or make the problem with your jukebox worse than what it already is.

Try listing them on your local craigslist.com, or other free advertising sites in your area. Most of that will need to be picked up locally (too big & expensive to ship)

Depending on the shape, I’ve seen them go for $4,000 to $6500…

So cool!!If you do a quick google search, listings range from $4000 to $10,000 (converted to CDN $$$).If it is in good working conditions and if it has some top-40 hits in there (which I`m sure it does)… not many scratches, bumps, dings, etc… lights all working… sell it for the $7500 to $10000 range. But it may not move fast. You could sell it on eBay but then you pay lots of fees. If you can, consign it to a local antique shop – I remember an awesome one on Bank.Negotiate down the commission they get. 20% or 30% max.

It might be your lucky day; I think the Grainger catalog has them http://www.grainger.com Then of course you will get into trying to determine pin bases and lamp colors. If you can find the lamp , find the ballast that goes with it.Good luck BTW on a fluorescent lamp the first numbers ar it’s nominal length
