It is difficult to determine how well a device of this type works without a microscopic look at the record surface. It leaves no visible residue on the disc surface detectable by the naked eye. As far as de-staticizing a disc, who knows? At least it doesn’t add any while sweeping.

help,need advice interview in days.?
I have an interview in a few days with a company that i desperately want to work for. The pay is great and i genuinely feel that i would get satifsfaction from the job, being i have been doing this type of work for a while now -with less pay.I of course plan to 45 Record Cleaner ace the interview but there is a problem. This is a driving position and one of the requirements for the position are that your motor vehicle record be perfect. I went to the dmv and had my MVR ran AFTER i applied for the job and to my surprise, my record wont be clean for another 45 days. My interview is in 4 days.If i wouldve known this i would have waited it out to apply, but its too late now.Should i go in there and inform my interviewer of this before the interview starts, or wait until i have wowed them with my knowledge of the job and then inform him of the hiccup? And why?

I recently purchased this brush to keep my 12 inch Vinyl records as dust free as possible for playing and recording.
It seems to do a very good job for dry cleaning vs a wet process.

An excellent companion to a wet record cleaning system (the kind with a soft velvety brush or pad that you dribble some cleaning solution on and then drag across a record). Use the wet pad on grubby records—I find that thrift-store finds sometimes need a few cycles—and then use the AudioQuest brush every time you take a record out of the jacket, to get rid of surface dust. It’s not a miracle treatment, but it will often make records you thought were permanently full of clicks and pops sound good again.

THE VANNS COMPANY WAS VERY HELPFULL WHEN I RETURNED THE ITEM ,THEY REFUNDED MY MONEY PROMPTLY, YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR BETTE SERVICE.

I use this anti-static record cleaner brush before each playback session. It definitely limits the frequency of pops and cracks, leaving that sweet sound that takes you back to the old days when records were the popular medium. The sound may not be as clean as today’s digital audio, but it certainly revives the life of any record that has been collecting dust over the years.
