It is difficult to determine how well a device of this type works without a microscopic look at the record surface. It leaves no visible residue on the disc surface detectable by the naked eye. As far as de-staticizing a disc, who knows? At least it doesn’t add any while sweeping.

Where can I sell my large collection of 45 RPM vinyl records?
I am interested in selling the entire lot, not piece meal. I have over 45 Vinyl 100 45’s in good condition, 99% of them in original paper sleeves. I don’t want to list them on eBay since the shipping will be too high and most buyers want dirt cheap postage rates for heavy items. The music ranges from Motown, Country, Rock, Dance, and Lite.

I use this anti-static record cleaner brush before each playback session. It definitely limits the frequency of pops and cracks, leaving that sweet sound that takes you back to the old days when records were the popular medium. The sound may not be as clean as today’s digital audio, but it certainly revives the life of any record that has been collecting dust over the years.

I recently purchased this brush to keep my 12 inch Vinyl records as dust free as possible for playing and recording.
It seems to do a very good job for dry cleaning vs a wet process.

An excellent companion to a wet record cleaning system (the kind with a soft velvety brush or pad that you dribble some cleaning solution on and then drag across a record). Use the wet pad on grubby records—I find that thrift-store finds sometimes need a few cycles—and then use the AudioQuest brush every time you take a record out of the jacket, to get rid of surface dust. It’s not a miracle treatment, but it will often make records you thought were permanently full of clicks and pops sound good again.
