I am looking for an African american “old school” type night club in Seattle. I’ll be in Seattle on 8/16/07
I am a 45 year old Marketing professional who’s in the process of re-locating to Seattle, Washington. I’ll be visiting Seattle next week to look at available condos. I’ve never visited there before. Funk 45 Rpm Box Sets I like bars for mature black adults. Clubs that play Al Green and Marvin Gaye style music as well as some old school funk like Parliment/Funkadelic. Although I’ve been know to get my “jam” on, I’m not too much into the loud hip hop favored by the younger crowd. I prefer the jazz and classic soul flavored atmosphere. Pretty people, good music and healthy drinks. Know of anyplace like that? I’ll have a car and can drive to where the real party is. I’ll be staying near the airport and would like to check out some clubs on Wednesday or Thursday night. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
