I purchased the speakers after reading the reviews and was a little up in the air about it. When I received the speaker and charged it as the manual recommends the speaker works great. The sound is crystal clear and the speaker is very loud. The distance is great also, I leave the transmitter in my family room and bring the speaker out to the pool about 100′ feet away and I get a great signal. I am very please and satisfied with this product.

    True…. for Rockband 1&2 it does not matter wether or not you hit (for example) yellow cymbal or yellow pad to be correct. It is fun to match the real sound with the correct piece. Rock Band 3 comming out X-mas 2010 will have music that allows 4 pads and 3 cymbals to be used specifically. It is fun and makes the experience more entertaining. In the end, its just a game have fun.
