Very comfortable while playing games
Buttons have good sensitivity
Can be used on Xbox

Only problem is the location of the direction button, need some time to adjust.

This is a great product, sold at a great price. Shipping was free and fast. It’s so nice now, to have a fresh and clean CD/DVD sleeve for each of my “loose” media. No more dusty or scratched CDs & DVDs in my house. No more piles of cheap plastic CD cases. Family photos and movies shared with friends & family are now “professionally” packaged in these high-quality sleeves. Well done! — robin

Arrived days earlier than I expected. Great quality DVD/CD sleeves. Great buy if you need a lot of sleeves.

  • Alcorn says:

For the price, I expected the sleeves to not have the lip on the back to hold the paper cover. Well, I was wrong. This is exactly that I wanted, and I WILL order again. There were 10 packs of 100 envelopes. Thank you so much.

the adapter worked for about 2 weeks, then I realized it kept dropping the wireless connection about every 5 minutes. I have done everything possible. I have read forums looking for similiar issues. After 5 days and many wasted hours, I have decided to return this back to Amazon for a full refund. This is the most dissapointing purchase I have ever gotten from Amazon. Hopefully others will have better luck with this than I did. I would not recommend it to people.

This was a cheap, easy, and portable way to go for my desktop computer. I didn’t have wireless before and need to connect my desktop to my Verizon Mifi2200. It works great, looks good, good reception, installs easy. Only reason I gave it four stars is because even after calling tech support I could not get it to connect to my mifi2200 on a secure network.. but it does work flawlessly with my mifi2200 wireless internet when set to an open network….So far so good. I recommend this little gadget.

This little USB wireless adapter is absolutely terrific. When it has access to a strong signal, it picks up the signal and logs on without any problems. Setup is straightforward and relatively simple. Most of the time in my house, I am able to get a signal of about 135mbps, pretty close to the 150 advertised. Absolutely no complaints!

  • Barrows says:

    - Cradle seems a little flimsy, but works fine.
    - Ran the install CD on a machine running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Completed fine.
    - Connected the device. Windows recognized it fine.
    - Ran the software to locate my wireless network. Found it fine.
    - Entered the wireless key, BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!
    - Get a little angry and get ready to post a flaming review
    - Turn my computer back on.
    - Software recognizes wireless network, connects me, and provides a great connection for several hours now.

While the blue screen was a little alarming, so far so good.

My intent was to program into my harmony remote – which turned out to be a real chore.
On it’s own, the remote works as expected.

  • Escamilla says:

Using with a Logitech Harmony One and W7/WMC and works great. The exact device setup is in the Harmony One under “ORtek” model number “VRC-1100″. Note that no where in the documentation or packaging for this unit is the manufacturer name provided.

First, I want to point out that this remote is a bargain remote, not a top of the line one.

I intended to only use this remote with Windows Media Center (works great with Windows 7 Media Center), but realize that most of the buttons work with XBMC. Everything I have tried with the remote seems to work great, but haven’t had a chance to fully play with the advanced features of XBMC. However, if you are looking for just a cheap remote to control it, this should work great.

For the people wondering what the model number is (for Harmony remotes), on the back it says: VRC-1100 (And if you Google the model number, you will find it is an Ortek VRC-1100).

Anyone that is having problems getting this to work with their Harmony remotes, open up the Logitech software and click Add Device. Select Computer>Media Center. Find ORTek listed and then type in VRC-1100. Update the remote and your Logitech remote should work when you get to the testing phase. There is absolutely no reason to learn IR from this remote (unless I’m missing one of the advanced features).

    Now on to the cons.

The mouse feature is gimmicky at best. It is very slow and the accuracy isn’t stellar. But then again, this is not a wireless mouse, it is a remote.

The IR sensor is a bit gimmicky as well and there isn’t an easy way to make it stay still. I’m thinking about attaching some velcro to the bottom of it so my cats won’t play with it.

Product worked immediately after plugging in usb receiver w/ Win 7 x64. I did a little research on remote mapping using Eventghost. While the remote cannot be configured as a plugin, you can still use it by adding the plugin, ‘Keyboard’. After you add it, you will see the buttons you press on the remote show up in the log on the left side of the screen. Just drag these into the XBMC plugin events to the right and it will work fine.

Granted a few of the buttons don’t work, but I think you can get by w/ the basic functionality. When you press the “Start” button it takes you to WMC, but if you create an event – “Start Program: XBMC.exe”, you can bypass this by dragging the LAlt + LWin + Enter command from the log (shows up after you press it) into the Start Program command. It doesn’t even open WMC simultaneously, it seemingly bypasses it and opens XBMC, which is pretty nice. I set eventghost to start w/ windows as administrator. Seems to be working great after a little playing around.

All in all, makeshift cheap remote works well w/ most functionality.

If you are looking for a cheap bluetooth dongle, don’t buy this. The device does not come with basic windows drivers. Instead, if you ask for help because the device isn’t working, they tell you to buy BlueSoliel for an additional $30. It isn’t worth the expense.

  • Chamberlain says:

I run Vista home premium 32 bit O/S. Vista recognized the dongle and found drivers for it, but to get this to work was a trip. I think it had to do more with my head phones (SX-907C) than the dongle. I had to try 5 or 6 times to get the dongle to connect. It would recognize the head phones but not connect. After all of that madness it works fine now. For the price, what was 45 minutes of madness.

This item did not work for me. Others pointed this out, but I had to find out for myself!

  • Holly says:

I bought this bluetooth adapter and figured the worst that could happen is that I’d be out a couple of bucks. I tried and tried but could not get it to work on my laptop running Windows 7 Home 64 bit. An email to the seller elicited the response that this device does not support Windows 7. Ultimately I ended up using an IO Gear adapter with Broadcomm driver. This device would be a bargain if you can get it to work but I couldn’t.
