I bought this device to go with my 3rd Gen ipod shuffle because I like to work out with the tiny ipod. I don’t require 80 gigs of music to work out with and the arm bands look ridiculous. The newer shuffle has no controls except to power on and off. The controls are all in the headphone lines. I took a chance with the Klipsch.
The sound isn’t bad at all. The problem is the device would go to max volume or min volume without me adjusting any controls. Once the headphones began to malfunction, none of the functions worked. They would work properly again after a few days but then would fail again. The malfunctions have become so frequent to the point that I can’t depend on them. Imagine being in the middle of an intense workout and having to turn your music off because it’s too loud and you can’t turn the volume down. I’ll return them and hopefully Klipsch will replace them with no hassle.
